The overall focus of Press Box hosted by Dr Laurie Davis and former NHL star Doug Smith is to help people with their self esteem and help them to feel better about themselves. They help people clean out these seemingly powerful bad situations that they have made up in their mind. Doug firmly believes that the mind can heal the body.
Dr Laurie Davis created workshops called "Mind Systems". She knows that: 1) most people are walking around feeling as though there is something wrong with them; 2) many people lack confidence; 3) communication skills are important.
Today Dr Laurie Davis and former NHL player Doug Smith welcome Richard Fast! Richard Fast released a new game back when we did not have internet called Mind Trap, and sold millions and millions of copies. Richard takes us through how the game Mind Trap came about. He had no advertising budget! Richard knew that the game worked and back then it was how does he get the word out there...? Eventually he did. They sold millions and millions of copies and consistently sold out. In fact, the president of CBC phoned him up and said that "Mind Trap" was at the top of his daughter's Christmas list and could Richard get him a game....
Richard Fast also believes that the key to your correct weight is to eat real, natural food without all the extra industry additives. He talks about this and nutrition. and obesity.

He uses sports and hockey to get kids in the far north back to school. Sports can open doors for the kids to get them to where they want to go in life.
Dr Laurie also chats about how she went into business with a friend of hers, former chief Leonard Standing on the Road. They have been in business together for 15 years. They bought a septic truck together and they have also imported cork ball caps!
